Microsoft Word

We have developed many extensions, templates and add-ins for Microsoft Word for a wide variety of clients.  We have linked Microsoft Word to other Microsoft Office programs and stand-alone Visual Basic programs for a number of clients.  While with Microsoft, I performed a detailed transition plan for Pharmacia & Upjohn to help them migrate worldwide from WordPerfect to Microsoft Word.  As a part of that project, I also worked with the Microsoft Word development team back in Redmond, Washington on implementing a few new features that Pharmacia & Upjohn required.  After I left Microsoft, they commissioned Compuvision to create a custom add-in / template system for Chrysler.  It is used every day by over 20,000 users at Chrysler.

Compuvision is a technology consulting firm based in Southfield, Michigan.  Compuvision is owned and managed by Steven Kovitz, a former Microsoft Employee.  Compuvision specializes in desktop application development using Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Outlook), VBA, Visual Basic .Net and SQL Server.

Our Consultants, Programmers, Experts, Gurus, Database Developers, Program Developers, DBAs, Project Managers, etc. can create custom Applications and/or help you get past any sort of Problems, Bugs and Errors that you may have encountered.  We even have a Trainer on staff.

We can also help you with smaller issues that you may be experiencing with setting up new documents, templates, style sheets, add-ins, custom menus and toolbars, Macros / VBA (aka Visual Basic for Applications), data merging and even linking to external databases (like SQL Server) via ODBC.
