Compuvision

You read it here first.  Of course, it hasn't happened yet, but since I've been predicting it for over a year now, it seemed logical to carve it in stone (or at least commit it to the WayBack Machine at Archive.org).  Just this week, the New York Times had this little nasty piece on Apple and TechCrunch ran another Digg's about to be sold story.  At some point, Apple is going to recognize a need to get back to its roots and find a new cult leader.  Kevin Rose has many of the same cult leader-ish traits as Steve Jobs, plus some real technical credibility to make up for his lack of complete god-like standing in the Mac world.  Whether he still owns his parts of Digg and Revision3 at the time, or not, he won't be able to resist this "Willy Wonka"-like opportunity.

(I don't know if Apple's board is able to do this while Steve Jobs is still alive, but I sure that all involved will agree that there's no better way to bring him back from the dead than by appointing a new CEO.)
